Welcome to episode #88! We have a fantastic show for you today! Last week, Royal Caribbean announced an brand new class of ships that will be coming in 2022 and 2024. What is unique about this announcement is that these new ships, the Icon Class, will be power by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fuel cell technology. This is the first ever passenger cruise ship line to bring to the cruise industry a clean burning energy proportion system. On top of that, they will be testing fuel cell technology on their Oasis and Quantum class ships to starting in 2017. We have invited Matt Hochberg of Royal Caribbean Blog onto this week's show to discuss this "iconic" news and speculate the impact of this announcement on the cruise industry, refueling stations, testing procedures, possible of fuel surcharges and more. Welcome to episode #85! Scott just got back from his cruise on the Carnival Imagination. The ship just finished it's dry dock refurbishment and had some upgrades and new features added. Scott shares with us some "inside scoops" he got that are not quite well known too! From the Chef's Table to the water slides, Scott was busy trying, tasting and testing everything. It is our diamond anniversary show! We are so glad to have back on the show, the Cruise Sisters from Berlin, Germany.
They just finished a wonderful cruise on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas, the newest and largest cruise ship in the world today. Christened less than three months ago, the ship is still sailing it's inaugural Western Mediterranean route. This beautiful ship is over 225,000 gross tons, 1,188 feet long, 18 decks, 2,300 crew members, and can serve almost 5,500 guests.

Welcome to episode #53! Sometimes when you make plans they change, especially when you are podcasting. This show is proof of that - but all in a good way, and I might add, in a tasty way. This show took a surprising turn that we did not plan talk about in this episode - which was all about the food we enjoyed on board! We were fortunate to experience celebrity chef, Curtis Stone's brand new restaurant, Share. Princess did a total remodel of Sabatini's and turned it into a modern, but warm and inviting environment at the aft of the ship. Share is only on the Ruby and Emerald Princess ships at this time. Welcome to episode #52!
Happy New Year Cruisers!
We started the 2016 right - we took a cruise! Scott and I just returned from a seven day Mexican Riviera cruise on the beautiful Ruby Princess. We had port stops in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabos San Lucas. The ship came recently out of drydock and many wonderful improvements and changes were made. We can't wait to share with you all the things we did and experienced. You can expect a couple of shows all about this cruise and ship in the upcoming few weeks!
